Imagine spending a night at one of the world’s oldest zoos in a secluded safari lodge and sharing your breakfast with gorillas the next morning! The Bristol Zoo (bristolzoo.org.uk) in England, has come up with this unique concept for visitors. The boutique lodge (maximum occupancy four persons, including children) consist of two bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, a terrace with views of the Zoological Gardens and an additional room with a sofa-bed. The overnight package, which costs $1,510.65, includes entrance to the Bristol Zoo Gardens for two days, an overnight stay at the lodge, complimentary tickets to the Wild Place Project, a private evening tour led by one of the zoo keepers, an animal feeding experience, a four course meal cooked by a personal chef, and breakfast with gorillas.
