Seven-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi couldn't play in the final of the 2023 US Open Cup due to a leg issue and his team, Inter Miami suffered a 2-1 defeat against Houston Dynamo at DRV PNK Stadium, Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday. Griffin Dorsey and Amine Bassi scored for the victors while Josef Martinez got a consolation goal late in the game.
