Kenyan Daniel Ebenyo and Ethiopian Sutume Kebede ran the fastest at the Kolkata marathon by clinching the men's and women's titles with a new World Best times for standalone events on Sunday. Ebenyo clocked 1:11:13 to rake up the win whereas Sutume clocked 1:18:47 in the women's category. For the Indian contingent, Sawan Barwal (1:17:49) and Reshma Kevate (1:30:38) recorded their respective victories.
