Team India's star batter Virat Kohli celebrated his 35th birthday with a well-crafted 49th ODI ton against South Africa in Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday. Kohli, who equalled the record with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, came close to record against Sri Lanka in Mumbai but was dismissed. But the Delhi-born made sure he achieved the feat this time around as the large Kolkata crowd applauded the superstar from India. Sachin Tendulkar wrote on his social media, "Well played Virat. It took me 365 days to go from 49 to 50 earlier this year. I hope you go from 49 to 50 and break my record in the next few days. Congratulations!!"
