Ahead of the new season ILT20, MI Emirates have appointed West Indies cricket star Nicholas Pooran as their new skipper for the new season. Kieron Pollard, the skipper for the 2023 season, was named the skipper of the MI Cape Town this year. (More Cricket News)
Pooran was also the captain for the MI New York franchise in the MLC Final and had scored a sensational 137 runs. MI Emirates kick-off the new season of ILT20 with the fixture against Dubai Capitals on January 20 in Dubai.
Last season, MI Emirates ended losing in the Qualifier 2 to Gulf Giants by four wickets. Despite beating Dubai Capitals in the Eliminator, MI Emirates would want to go one step further in the 2024 season under the leadership of Pooran.
