Security forces recovered arms, ammunition, and explosives, including nine grenades and an improvised explosive device (IED), along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu's Akhnoor sector. The discovery occurred during a joint search operation by the police and the Army in Palanwallah near the LoC early in the morning, as reported by PTI.

A box found during the operation raised suspicion, prompting the involvement of a bomb disposal squad.
