After police arrested the Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Chetan Singh, who allegedly shot dead his senior and three passengers on the moving Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train, it has been reported that the accused has not been cooperating with the police in the investigation. Instead, he has been raising slogans inside the police custody, said the officials.
When questioned about the details, officials informed that the accused gave unrelated answers regarding the train shooting incident.
Chetan Singh was sent to the custody of the Government Railway Police for seven days in the case. He was produced in a court in Mumbai's Borivali on Tuesday, where the police demanded 14-day custody of the accused. However, the court granted the police 7-day custody of the accused.

The accused's lawyer said that he was not given food for over 24 hours after the incident.
"My client has not done anything wrong. He said whatever he did was with a service gun and nothing wrong. He was not given food for over 24 hours, to which the court has directed police to give timely food to Chetan. Cops will be investigating whether Chetan was mentally unstable," the advocate said,as per media reports.
About the train firing incident
On Monday, Singh, allegedly fired from his service gun and killed his senior and three passengers near Maharashtra's Palghar station onboard the moving Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train.

As per media reports, two of the deceased passengers have been identified as Abdul Kadarbhai Mohammed Hussain Bhanpurwala (48), a resident of Nalasopara in Palghar, and Asgar Abbas Sheikh (48), a resident of Madhubani in Bihar.
The third victim is yet to be identified.
