I think these New Year plans have been there for 20 years of my life. But, since I have kids, I always think about where I should go, so that they can enjoy themselves. Things definitely change after you become parents. Partying is something you do in Mumbai or wherever you travel, so I don’t particularly look for partying for Christmas or New Years. Those times have gone and I feel we have over-done it so much. I am a person who doesn’t feel pressured for anything, especially not for entertainment things. The only thing I feel pressured about is that I have to perform well and I have to be at the top of my game. Since childhood, I was told by my father that whatever you want to be, you have to be the best in it.

Our Hindu New Year is in March, as per Vikram Samvat, and that is when I celebrate it in a traditional way by doing havan. The English New Year on 31st December has wild crazy parties that have never interested me, at least for the last 20 years. I feel it’s a new day and a chance for new beginnings. It’s a time to believe that things need to change in life. You need to make resolutions get up early, exercise, work harder, give more time to family, focus more on health, take a half yearly vacation, so on and so forth.

I look forward to the holiday season as I love the energy around. People are generally relaxed. It’s vibrant everywhere on the streets. I don’t specifically believe that a new year can bring in a fresh start automatically. It is all in one’s mind. A fresh start can happen the moment one decides that it should. But generally, it is believed that New Year can give a fresh start because of the positivity and the energy that it brings. Anything new is always cherished. Earlier when we were just a couple, and not parents, we would plan our New Years travel in advance too. It would be a mandatory trip to Koh Samui and Bangkok with family and close friends. But since the time we became parents, our travel decisions and celebrations revolve around our son’s schedule. I am okay with these last-minute plans as well as they are quite adventurous.

I do wait for Christmas and New Year holidays. It’s an opportunity to get together with your friends and family and celebrate the season and celebrate yourself. I do not agree with the fact that the new year can give you a fresh start. It’s just a very psychological thing because for me new year is just an opportunity for celebrations and not something that defines a new start for me because for me everyday is a new day. If New Years helps you mentally then you may do that but for me we can make a fresh start any time because it’s our life. People do plan their new year parties and holidays much in advance. We have also done that in the past not because of any pressure or any trend but because if my kids are getting a holiday during that time then it becomes more sensible to plan a holiday that time. If not going out and even staying at home makes sense to me because I get to spend time with my family

Subuhii Joshii

Every year, I am super excited for Christmas and New Year. I am somebody who gets excited for every holiday and I love to celebrate festivals. With a positive thought and a positive mindset, I like to begin my New Years. Since I am a DJ as well, every New Year, I am working and have a show. I love working on New Years and I believe whatever you start your New Year with, you do it for the entire year. I bring in the New Year with work and making people dance to my tunes and I love it!

Like they say that New Year is all about New Beginnings so I agree to the fact that New Year can give a new start to your life. Christmas is a time that reminds you that this year is about to end and the new year is going to start. It’s a celebration time to sum up about all you did in the past year and what you want to do in the new year. If I talk about myself then I actually don’t wait for Christmas, it just happens as the year passes so quickly. Being in industry is a lot of pressure because everyone is planning their new year parties and holidays. It is fancy but I would rather spend this new year working though I really love to go out with my friends and enjoy. Last year I was in Goa with my friends and it was perfect and beautiful. People do plan to celebrate the perfect new year and even I plan it but it never happens and it’s always random with me. If I plan something then someone either backs out and in the end we end up being with some people from the group. This time I am not taking much pressure about it and I am going to have a working Christmas and New Year

I am shooting on 31st December at Konkan and then will go to Goa with my friends. On the day of new year we will visit the Goa temple and take blessings and will go back to Mumbai. My New Year's resolution is to wake up early in the morning at 5 am and do yoga and go to the gym every day and keep myself focused It's not a typical resolution, I want to do it throughout the year. I also want to focus more on acting. I am coming up with a show named 2 hours of non-stop laughter with Navin Prabhakar which will be a theatrical show. The way people have loved me in the last 17-18 years, the coming year too is going to be fun. Disciplining myself in fitness and acting and staying focussed is going to be my New Year resolution.

Year 2022 has been an amazing year for me on the work front. I got a chance to work in two great shows of Sony SAB, ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ and the recently released ‘Dil Diyaan Gallaan’. I really enjoyed shooting for ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ as it was a new and different concept for me. And now Dil Diyaan Gallaan is yet another unique experience. I hope through our show we motivate viewers to celebrate their new year with their families. So, for me, the end of the year 2022 calls for a celebration which I am looking forward to with my loved ones. I am planning to travel with my family somewhere on New Year’s. I don't believe in a new year resolution, but I truly believe in staying healthy, fit, and happy. I also wish to entertain people more with my work and meet new people and make new friends in the process. I wish to take up more projects in the forthcoming year. I even have a bucket list that is waiting to be accomplished. In 2022, I had thought of starting my own YouTube channel, but it got pushed to the back burner. In 2023, I will surely give a try to tick this off my list. Overall, 2022 has been kind to me. I wish one and all a Happy New year.

2022 was tremendous in terms of both my work life and personal life. I would say that I have been blessed with the best parents and family. As for my work, an amazing opportunity came my way with Pushpa Impossible on Sony SAB, a character that has truly grown on me with time. The show has been a chance for me to expand my horizons and grow more as an artist. I am glad that I could inspire women through Pushpa to look at life with a positive perspective. 2023 is almost here and I look forward to ushering in the new year with an open heart and positive mind. I am a believer of ‘karma’ and believe that what you give comes back to you. So, I want to give more to the people and do my bit for the good of society. I wish to excel in my work and become an ace actor. I want to learn new languages and be open to learning from the experiences of people around me, something that will also help me as an actor. And like I always say- learning should never stop. For me, 2023 will be an opportunity to evolve as a person and an actor.

2022 opened doors for me professionally. As an artist, getting to work in a show like ‘Pushpa Impossible’ has been a blessing. It has been overwhelming to receive so much love and adulation from the audience. As a team, we strive hard to make sure our viewers enjoy watching our work. On the personal front, I became a father this year and was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. I am excited about starting this new chapter of my life. Honing my craft further will be a priority in the new year. I can’t wait to see what 2023 holds for me.

New Year's resolutions have never been my thing. Having said that, I have always believed in one mantra, i.e., to be my best self and lead a healthy and positive life. This time, I’m stepping into a new year with a new beginning, and I am looking forward to what 2023 will unfold for me. The last couple of years have been quite challenging for each one of us, and we can only be grateful to have continued to work, had a family around us, and battled through the hard times. I would take this opportunity to thank my fans and definitely my character Haseena in Maddam Sir, that always kept me going, and the amount of appreciation that I have received over the years makes my heart full! Haseena’s confidence always keeps me also pumped up in life for doing new things. So, this one goes out to all my fans - I wish you and your family a very happy new year, stay happy, stay blessed!

I think 2022 has really been a special year for the team of ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ as all of us achieved a couple of unforgettable milestones this year with the show. I believe the amount of love and appreciation that the audience has showered on us throughout the year is beyond words. Vandana remains very close to my heart since, through her, I have had a chance to talk about certain topics and taboos that I wouldn't have otherwise to the viewers at large. During the last few weeks of the year, we’re usually focused on what’s to come – all the new habits we’re going to create and the goals we’re going to achieve. I am excited for the new year and the new opportunities it will open for me. I always see the future with a positive vibe and believe it will only bring me good. I have realized there is never a good time to do important things, I will certainly take my time off to spend some quality time with my family.

The year 2022 has bought many opportunites for me. The 3 best things that happened to me in 2022 career wise was that my film got release, later I had the opportunity to be in an Ad film starring Pankaj Tripathi and finally launched my New wedding song across all platforms by which my career graph has reached heights. I am expecting to work more and harder in the year 2023 and achieve the impossible.

Some risks are worth taking and are the perfect opportunity to grow. 2022 has taught me just that. This year taught me to value talent and recognise my self-worth! 2022, I am blessed to have lived and learned through your days. Looking forward to releasing some bangers for my audience in 2023.
