When we asked him about the latest status of season 4, Sumeet said, ''I have already told them that we should definitely start working on the script of Season 4 and I hope they are on it. We should be able to make the 4th season sooner''.

He added, ''One thing that we all consciously spoke about is that not to lose the likeness of the show. Irrespective of how popular it is, what kind of impact it has, and what numbers it gets, the reason why it works is because it's a very light show. It's meant to make people feel good. It's supposed to be a happy space for people when they are struggling with everything else in the world.''

Sumeet who started his career in 2000 by doing theatre also recalled his journey. On getting recognition from TVF, he said, ''OTT was not a medium. It was an experiment that I did with a bunch of friends with TVF and we made Permanent Roommates as the first web series and it did very well. It was something that we tried with utmost sincerity with a pure intention to try and create something new and interesting and there was no other reason for it. We didn't have money, we weren't paid, had very little resources. Everybody who worked on this project really wanted to do things their way. It is very reassuring that you should follow your heart and you must not give up if you really believe that you have it in you to tell a story.''

Sumeet was recently seen in the third season of 'Permanent Roommates'. He is currently writing 'Tripling 4'.

''We are right now writing the fourth season of Tripling. I am directing a play. There is a festival called Prithvi festival and we are opening this new play called 'Purane Chawal'. I am directing a play after so many years. So, I am nervous and really excited to do this,'' added Sumeet.
