The Waliv Police in Maharashtra on Wednesday produced actor Sheezan Khan in the Vasai court with regards to the death case of actress Tunisha Sharma. The court in its order added that Sheezan should be kept in police custody for two more days. Now after the police remand of Sheezan Khan was extended, Tunisha’s uncle has shared new details about his niece’s relationship with Sheezan.
As per a new report, Tunisha's uncle Pawan Sharma, citing the police, claimed that 'Sheezan had relations with other women too'. He also mentioned that Tunisha had changed after meeting Sheezan, and had started 'wearing hijab (a head covering worn by Muslim women)'.
Pawan told reporters, as quoted by news agency ANI, "Police today stated before the court that Sheezan had relations with other women too. Police should investigate the case from all angles. Many things about Tunisha had changed after meeting Sheezan, she had started wearing a hijab."
For the unversed, Tunisha was found dead on the sets of her TV show ‘Alibaba: Dastaan-e-Kabul’ on December 24. A day later, her ex-boyfriend and co-star, Sheezan, was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide, and was sent to police custody. As per the police, Sheezan and Tunisha broke up 15 days before she committed suicide.
The police added that WhatsApp chats between the two are under scan, and chats of around 250 to 300 pages from June to this December have been recovered to find
the real reason why the two actors decided to part ways. The police also mentioned that they are trying to retrieve the deleted chats between Sheezan and his "secret girlfriend" in order to find out why he only deleted his chats with one girl. The police also is looking to investigate if they were connected after Tunisha's death, and stated that Sheezan's "secret girlfriend" has been identified as well.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Tunisha's fans, family, and members of the television and film industry said their final goodbye to the 20-year-old Tunisha at the Mira Road crematorium ground in Mumbai. The funeral was attended by Vishal Jethwa, Ashnoor Kaur, Avneet Kaur, and Shivin Narang among others.
