Matthew Perry Dies At 54: Maggie Wheeler, Khloe Kardashian, Olivia Munn And Others Mourn Demise Of 'Friends' Star

Matthew Perry popularly known as Chandler Bing of the 'Friends' series died on Saturday at the age of 54. His peers and colleagues from the industry mourned the demise of the star.

The entire world woke up to the sad news of 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry's death. He was found dead in a hot tub at his LA home on Saturday. The investigation is underway. As per reports, no foul play is indicated. Matthew became a household name with his lovable character Chandler Bing. The news of his demise has left everyone in a state of shock. Social media is flooded with condolences for Perry. 

Matthew's 'Friends' co-star Maggie Wheeler, who played his on-screen girlfriend Janice on the sitcom paid a tribute on Instagram. She wrote, “What a loss. The world will miss you Mathew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.”

Selma Blair wrote in honour of Perry, “My oldest boy friend. All of us loved Matthew Perry, and I did especially. Every day. I loved him unconditionally. And he me. And I’m broken. Broken hearted. Sweet dreams Matty. Sweet dreams.”

Meredith Salenger who starred together with Perry in the 1988 drama 'A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon' wrote, “Oh no no no no no! Matty! Oh man. My heart breaks. Matty... Matthew and I have known each other since were were 16 years old. Oh man. No words. Rest in peace sweet @MatthewPerry''.

Khloe Kardashian wrote, ''Rest in peace 💔❤️‍🩹 heart broken. Unbelievable''

Olivia Munn wrote, "He struggled with so much addiction and was brave enough to be open and honest about it. I'm so sorry to his family and friends who are getting this news today. Nothing short of heartbreaking. Rest in love, Matthew Perry 💔"

Shannen Doherty, wrote on Instagram: "We were a gang way back. We all grew up together going to the Formosa, North and constantly laughing. Matt, Roger, David, Roxana. We played dare and Matt had to say ridiculous things to girls at the bar. We just always had fun and supported each other. You would always find us all together in a booth speaking in our own made up language. And yes, Matt always had THAT sense of humor."
