While The Tech Industry Lays Off, This Bhopal Startup Is Handing Every Employee An AI Toolkit

We360.ai’s Arnav Gupta is working on AI to amplify teams, not replace them—building automations and tools that boost productivity while reshaping the company from within.

The past year has seen a familiar pattern across the technology sector. A company announces strong quarterly numbers, follows it with an AI investment announcement, and within months, a round of layoffs. The explanation is almost always the same: AI is doing what people used to do.

Arnav Gupta is not interested in that playbook.

Arnav Gupta is a 24-year-old entrepreneur and the founder & CEO of We360.ai, a fast-growing SaaS platform for workforce analytics. He has scaled We360.ai to onboard 3,000+ companies and 45,000+ users across 19+ countries, earning a #1 global ranking on G2 and recognition as the Best Employee Monitoring Software by Forbes Global in 2023 and 2024. An alumnus of Delhi Public School, Bhopal, and the University of Wollongong, Australia, Arnav is passionate about building innovative products that solve real-world problems and improve the way people work.

The founder and CEO of We360.ai, a workforce analytics company headquartered in Bhopal, has spent the last several months doing something that cuts against the prevailing logic of the moment. He has been sitting inside his own team's work sessions, helping them build with AI, and pushing the company through what he calls a ground-up AI overhaul.

We360.ai is a workforce analytics platform that gives organisations real-time visibility into productivity, attendance, and team performance across remote, hybrid, and in-office teams. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Bhopal, India, the company serves 10,000+ businesses across 21 countries and has raised over $3 million in funding from global investors.

We360.ai has rolled out company-wide access to tools including Claude, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Magnific, and AI-powered sales agents across product, marketing, sales, and operations teams. But the subscriptions are not the story. What the team has been building with them is.

"Handing people a ChatGPT login and calling it an AI strategy is not a strategy," Arnav said. "The real shift happens when your team stops thinking of AI as a tool they open in a browser tab and starts thinking of it as something they can build with. That is what we are pushing for at We360."

Over recent months, the company has connected different SaaS tools it already uses, built internal dashboards, and created automation workflows that previously would have required dedicated engineering resources. Marketing runs on dashboards built in days. Sales teams use AI agents to prepare before every call. Work that used to consume hours has been cut from people's routines entirely.

"We have built things in two days that would have taken two months a year ago," Arnav said. "And these are not throwaway scripts. These are tools our marketing team uses every morning, dashboards our sales team checks before every call, and automations that have removed hours of repetitive work from people's days."

The distinction Arnav draws is deliberate. Where larger companies are reaching for AI to reduce headcount, he sees a different opportunity entirely.

"Most companies are using AI to do the same work with fewer people. We are using AI to do far more work with the same people. That is a very different bet, and I think it is the right one for a company at our stage."

We360.ai currently serves over 10,000 companies across 21 countries and has raised more than $3 million from global investors, including GSF Accelerator. The company builds software that helps businesses understand how their teams spend their working hours across remote, hybrid, and in-office setups. The internal AI shift is not staying internal for long either. Several of the tools and dashboards being built for We360's own teams are directly influencing what the company builds next for its customers.

Arnav's thinking on what AI should actually fix is straightforward. "If your designer is spending three hours formatting a deck, that is not a designer problem; that is a tooling problem. AI fixes the tooling. The designer gets to design."

We360.ai plans to document the initiative more publicly in the coming weeks, sharing specific tools built and outcomes measured.
