'Our 2004 Series Win Was Historic'

'The team had a target before the start of the series. So, there was a special pleasure for having achieved that target.'

With Saurav Ganguly injured, Rahul Dravid captained India in the first two Tests against Pakistan last year, and scored a career-best 270 in the third Test, ending with a series batting average of 77.25. Excerpts from an interview with Debashish Dutta:
How was Pakistan last year?
Do you feel any extra pressure playing against Pakistan?
Will there be more pressure to face Pakistan in India?
Tell us something about Virender Sehwag's triple century under your captaincy? First Indian triple centurion?
You were also there in Ferozeshah Kotla when Anil Kumble got 10 wickets. Could you please tell us some memories before or after that historic moment?
Do you think we have had enough preparation before the Indo-Pak series?
Will there be any effect on account of the four consecutive ODI defeats against Pakistan in the last season?
Your best match against Pakistan? And how do you rate your 270 at Rawalpindi?
How do you remember the series win in Pakistan in 2004? First time in the history of Indo-Pak cricket?
