UP's dominant 3-0 win over Soorma Hockey Club, their second consecutive victory, put them level with Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers at the top of the table with six points. Soorma, despite a shootout win earlier, remained on two points.
UP wasted no time, with Sudeep Chirmako scoring from a rebound in the second minute. Soorma responded with pressure and a couple of penalty corners, but even with Harmanpreet Singh, they couldn’t capitalize.
