After Udita's dragflick from a PC hits the foot of an Italian player, India get another chance. Udita's drafglick is sent behind again, but this time, it's a long corner for the hosts. India are continuing to pile pressure on the Italian defence.

India win a PC after Fiorelli breaches the five metre rule. The injection by Vaishnavi reaches Manisha, and her superb dragflick gets a deflection off the goalkeeper and a couple of Italian defenders before going into the back of the net. India finally get the breakthrough.

Superb from Navneet, who turns and twists to make her way into the circle. She finally pulls the trigger from close range, but Caruso gets the faintest of touches to take it away from the onrushing Ishika.

Another injury blow in the match, this time for Italy, as Maldonado walks off after what seems like a hamstring issue. The Italian player walks off the pitch without much pain, so hopefully it's nothing serious.

It seems that Ishika has been shown a green card by the umpire as India go down to 10 players for a couple of minutes. Italy, meanwhile, continue to build up from the back patiently, pegging India back into their own half.

The first PC of the night after Navneet's shot hits the foot of Fiorelli. Tete's injection can't be trapped by Sushila Chanu, and Navneet's resulting shot is saved brilliantly by Caruso. India come on the attack again, but Lalremsiami's shot is blocked before it can threaten the goalkeeper.
