United Arab Emirates Women defeated Zimbabwe Women by 45 runs in the 4th ODI of the United Arab Emirates Women tour of Zimbabwe 2025 at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo on Thursday. Winning the toss, Zimbabwe opted to bowl first, but UAE Women fought hard to post a competitive total of 274 for 7 in their 50 overs. The UAE batters were led by solid contributions from their middle order, setting a challenging target for the hosts.
The series is now tied at 2-2.
In reply, Zimbabwe Women struggled to keep pace with the required run rate throughout their innings. Despite notable scores from captain Josephine Nkomo, who made 76 off 98 balls, and Loryn Phiri’s 48, Zimbabwe could only manage 229 for 7 by the end of their 50 overs. The UAE bowlers maintained pressure, with Samaira Dharnidharka and Suraksha Kotte picking key wickets. Zimbabwe’s early loss of Kelis Ndhlovu for a duck hampered their chase from the outset.
