South Africa Vs Pakistan, 2nd Women's T20I Highlights: Laura Wolvaardt And Co Clinch Series With 6-Wicket Win

This victory marks South Africa's fourth consecutive T20I win over Pakistan as they look toward a potential series sweep in Kimberley

South Africa had won the preceding women's T20I series against Ireland by a 2-0 margin. X/Proteas Women

South Africa Women secured an unassailable 2–0 lead in the three-match T20I series after defeating Pakistan Women by 6 wickets in a rain-shortened encounter at Willowmoore Park, Benoni.

After rain delayed the toss and reduced the match to 14 overs per side, South Africa elected to bowl first. The decision paid dividends as their disciplined attack, led by Player of the Match Ayabonga Khaka, stifled the visitors.

Pakistan struggled to build momentum, losing wickets at regular intervals to finish on a modest 100/9. Muneeba Ali top-scored with a brief flurry, but consistent strikes from the Proteas' bowlers kept the "Women in Green" under 130.

In response, South Africa’s chase was anchored by captain Laura Wolvaardt, who played a clinical unbeaten knock of 40 off 29 balls.

Despite losing Tazmin Brits and Marizanne Kapp in the middle overs, Wolvaardt’s composure ensured the hosts stayed ahead of the DLS requirements. Nadine de Klerk sealed the victory with a boundary in the 14th over, reaching 104/4 with four balls to spare.

This victory marks South Africa's fourth consecutive T20I win over Pakistan as they look toward a potential series sweep in Kimberley.
