Batting first, Pakistan were led by Amin's brilliant century. Amin scored an unbeaten 121 off 150 deliveries to take her side to a formidable total of 255/4 in 50 overs. Muneeba Ali also got a composed 76.

Ayabonga Khaka took two wickets for South Africa while Kapp also delivered an economic seven-over spell.

Pakistan got two Proteas batters out in the powerplay but after that Kapp and Brits stood tall. The duo put up an unbeaten 216-run partnership to take South Africa over the line with ease. Kapp scored 120 not out and was adjudged the Player of the Match while Brits got 101 not out.
