Batting first, the Shaheens posted 144/9 in 20 overs, with skipper Mohammad Irfan Khan anchoring the innings with 42 off 26 balls*. Abdul Samad (26) and Mohammad Wasim Jr. (23) made useful contributions, while Sompal Kami (3/30) led Nepal’s attack.

In reply, Nepal came within touching distance of the target, finishing on 143/7. Skipper Rohit Kumar (52) and Dipendra Singh Airee (41) kept their side in the chase, supported by Asif Sheikh’s 27. The game went down to the final delivery, where Faisal Akram held his nerve, effecting a stumping and a last-ball run-out to seal the win.
