New Zealand Women thrashed South Africa by 92 runs in the concluding 5th and final T20I at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. With this win, the White Ferns have clinched the series by 4-1, thus asserting their dominance at home.

After being put in to bat first, New Zealand posted a mammoth 194/6 on board on the back of a scintillating century by skipper Amelia Kerr, who slammed the first T20I ton of her career. She blasted 105 runs off just 55 balls, including 19 boundaries and one six during her mesmerising knock.

Ayabonga Khaka and Tumi Sekhukhune picked up 3 wickets each for the Proteas, but it wasn't enough to restrict the Kiwis to a manageable total.

In response to the chase, South Africa were restricted to just 102/9 by the Kiwi bowlers in 20 overs as no batter could put on a resilient fight to keep the visitors in the game. Lea Tahuhu turned out to be the pick of the bowlers, scalping three wickets for just 15 runs in her 4 overs.
