OMA: 15/0 (3)
A very good start from the Oman openers against Nepal. Jatinder and Ashish have negated the new ball movement and have put the bad balls away. 35 runs in the first six overs is not bad at all whilst Nepal have all to do in the opening exchanges of this match.
OMA: 35/0 (6)
Oman openers have started well and have shared a fifty-plus stand in Kirtipur. Jatinder Singh, OMA captain, is approaching his half-century and is well-supported at the other end by Ashish Odedara. Nepal's thirst for wickets continues and if the OMA batters bat like this, it will be a long afternoon for the hosts.
OMA: 59/0 (10)
Despite two quick wickets, OMA captain Jatinder Singh remains key for his side in the first innings. His presence is vital if they are to achieve a formidable score. NEP bowlers were left frustrated early on but the two wickets will encourage them further.
OMA: 83/2 (16)
Oman need a big partnership to keep Nepal attack at bay. They are two down but have done remarkably well against a potent NEP attack with Jatinder Singh playing a vital knock. Someone needs to play an anchor role and put the pressure back on the hosts.
OMA: 95/2 (20)
OMA skipper Jatinder Singh is approaching a century. Sensible batting from the captain, who is leading from the front. NEP bowlers would want his wicket before his reaches the three-figure mark.
OMA: 137/2 (26)
Jatinder Singh has scored a century and what a knock it has been. NEP bowlers have been tanked left, right, and centre. OMA need Jatinder to stay till the end and carry his side towards an improbable score.
OMA: 164/3 (30)
Nepal have been struck by the Jatinder Singh bolt! The OMA captain is toying with the NEP bowlers, with the visiting captain approaching his 150. Nepal need to regroup or else they could end up facing an improbable total in the region of 300-plus.
OMA: 192/3 (35)
A well-constructed innings of 130 comes to an end for Jatinder Singh as the skipper walks back to the pavillion. His innings has put OMA in the driver's seat and has given them a chance to score post 300 runs with 10 overs to go.
OMA: 233/4 (40)
Fantastic work from the NEP bowlers to restrict the OMA score under 300. With five overs still remaining, Sompal Kami and co need to bowl in the right areas and lengths to not allow Oman to get away with the score. As for the visitors, they need a few big overs.
OMA: 267/5 (45)
Nepal require 306 runs in 300 balls at 6.12 rpo to win the match against Oman. A brilliant century from skipper Jatinder Singh paved the way for the visitors but the hosts fought back with some quick dismissals in the middle-overs.
A big task for Sompal Kami and team ahead.
Nepal's batting has been found wanting many a times in international matches and Kushal Bhurtel's wicket is a prime example of that. The Rhinos have lost an early wicket in pursuit of 305 and OMA already have their noses up.
NEP: 28/1 (6)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
Oman are right on top of their game. Two wickets and Nepal are now feeling the heat. Chasing a huge total of 305, they needed a positive start but the two dismissals have rocked their run-chase.
NEP: 39/2 (11)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
A lot will depend on the shoulders of Bhim Sharki and Rohit Poudel to take their side out of troubled waters. Nepal are reeling at 52/2 in 15 overs and still need a lot of action still to be played.
NEP: 52/2 (15)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
Nepal's run-chase is stuttering at the moment. They have lost three wickets and it seems there's no way back for them unless there's a miracle down the order. Aarif Sheikh is at the crease but is running out of partners.
NEP: 77/5 (21)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
Oman are four wickets away from clinching a win against Nepal, who's batting has faltered in the run-chase. Earlier, their bowling was not up to the mark and now, the hosts' batting has come under the firing line.
NEP: 132/6 (32)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
This has been a disastrous batting performance from Nepal. Their batters have failed to fire. Apart from Dipendra Singh Airee, none of the other batters have come to the side's aide. Oman are three wickets away from clinching an important win.
NEP: 154/7 (36)
OMA: 305/8 (50)
Seems like rain has been having fun! Just like in Chattogram, it has now come in to obstruct in Nepal. Oman are three wickets away from victory but the rain gods want it their way.
Oman have been awarded the match after rain stopped play. The visitors were ahead on D/L method and have clinched the match by 102 runs against a dispirited Nepal team.
