This is the start of our live blog, stay tuned for the build-up, real-time updates and scores.
Today in Bulawayo, it is partly sunny with a high temperature of 28 Degree Celsius, an 8 mph wind from the east, and a 5% chance of rain during the daytime.
The surface at Queens Sports Club is expected to be pacer-friendly. It features a fast surface that typically provides early movement for seamers, challenging batters’ techniques in the opening stages. Batting is expected to become easier as the ball gets older.
India's highest score while batting first at this venue is 238. USA and New Zealand had scored 107 and 135 each in their other Group stage matches.
Zimbabwe squad: Nathaniel Hlabangana, Kupakwashe Muradzi(w), Kian Blignaut, Dhruv Patel, Simbarashe Mudzengerere(c), Leeroy Chiwaula, Brandon Senzere, Michael Blignaut, Tatenda Chimugoro, Panashe Mazai, Shelton Mazvitorera, Takudzwa Makoni, Brandon Ndiweni, Webster Madhidhi, Benny Zuze

Zimbabwe XI: Nathaniel Hlabangana(w), Dhruv Patel, Kian Blignaut, Webster Madhidhi, Takudzwa Makoni, Leeroy Chiwaula, Simbarashe Mudzengerere, Brandon Senzere(c), Michael Blignaut, Tatenda Chimugoro, Panashe Mazai
And we are underway in Bulawayo for India's first Super 6 match against co-hosts Zimbabwe. The Blue Colts scored 6 runs in Panashe Mazai's first over with both Aaron George (4) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (1) getting off the mark.
India lose their first wicket in the form of Aaron George, who has to depart for a score of 23 off 16. It was a good length delivery, tad short, and George wanted to club it away, but ends up finding the long-on fielder. Panashe Mazai gets the first scalp and does a nonchalant celebration at the end.
India's run-rate has picked up in the previous few overs as Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a couple of boundaries with the latter getting off to a flyer, scoring 43 off 20 already.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has scored the tournament's 3rd fastest half-century off just 24 balls and he has a great chance to convert this into triple figures.
India lose their 3rd wicket and its the dangerman Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who departs right after scoring the tournament's third fastest half-century. The Blue Colts' run-rate is still the same and they are well on-course for a big total today.
Following the dismissals of Ayush Mhatre (21 off 19) and Vedant Trivedi (15 off 18), the man in form Abhigyan Kundu has come out to bat and steady India's ship along with Vihaan Malhotra.
Vihaan Malhotra is some form today as he scores 42 in no time at a strike rate of over 90. Abhigyan Kundu, who has been the architect in India's middle-order, has also found his feet, scoring 35 off 38 already.
Abhingyan's heroic knock comes to an end as he holes it straight into the hands of Blignaut at cover. It was a poor shot selection from the India batter, who was looking completely set and destined for a big knock. Instead, he departs for 61 off 62, and Kanishk Chouhan is the new batter.
Kanishk's stay in the middle does not last long as he is caught by Hlabangana off Mudzengerere. It was a cheap wicket to throw away, with Kanishk departing for just three. RS Ambrish comes on for India, and he opens his account with a boundary.
With four overs remaining, India cross the 300-run mark. Amrish and Vihaan have built up a nice late partnership, with the latter just nine runs away from a century.
India gathered 17 runs in the last over to finish the innings at 352/8. Centurion Vihaan Malhotra remains unbeaten at 109* to play an integral role in getting his team to a mammoth first innings total. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (52) and Abhigyan Kundu also played an important role in India's strong total in their first Super Six game.
Zimbabwe are off to a bad start in the mammoth chase of 352 against India. They have lost both their openers - Nathaneil Hlabangana (0) and Dhruv Patel (8) cheaply. They have a daunting chase ahead and will need a miraculous effort from their batters to make a match out of it.
ZIM 17/2 (5)
Zimbabwe U-19 team are in hot waters against India. They have managed to put only 31 runs on board in 11 overs while chasing 353 and are already three batters down. RS Ambrish dismissed the last ZIM batter Brandon Senzer for 3 and Leeroy Chiwaula made his way into the crease in place of him.
ZIM 31/3 (11)
Kian Blignaut (29*) and Leeroy Chiwaula (19*) have stitched a 45-run partnership for the third wicket, yet they still need a mammoth 291 runs in 21 overs to win.
ZIM 62/3 (19)
The third wicket stand between Kian Blignaut (37*) and Leeroy Chiwaula (42*) is growing from strength to strength. Both these batters have stopped the flow of wickets and have forced the IND bowlers to think differently.
ZIM 93/4 (27)
Khilan Patel cleans up Kian Blignaut for 37 to break the partnership and get the crucial breakthrough for India. However Tatenda Chimugoro (26*) has batted with brisk pace and complemented Leeroy Chiwaula (62*) well to forge an unbeaten partnership of 47 runs for the 5th wicket.
ZIM 140/4 (33)
Breakthrough for India U19 at a crucial time! Udhav Mohan strikes as Leeroy Chiwaula falls for a hard-fought 62 off 77, trying to take on a short ball after stepping out but only managing a leading edge that balloons to Ayush Mhatre at mid-off, who takes a safe catch moving to his left.
ZIM 142/5 (34)
Another one goes down for Zimbabwe U19! Ayush Mhatre produces a beauty, pitching it well outside off and getting it to rip back sharply through bat and pad to bowl Blignaut for a duck. Classic off-spinner’s dismissal and India tighten the screws. Just two runs in the over, with Chimugoro kept quiet and Mudzengerere nudging a single on debut.
ZIM 144/6 (35)
Ayush Mhatre picks up two in the over to leave Zimbabwe U19 in deep trouble. First, Mudzengerere is trapped lbw as one turns sharply back into him and strikes the pad, and then Chimugoro holes out to long-on trying to go big, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi taking a simple catch. Just three runs and two wickets in the over as Mhatre’s spell reads 4-0-14-3.
ZIM 148/8 (37)
India seal a dominant win! Udhav Mohan cleans up the tail with two quick wickets, first trapping Makoni lbw with a pinpoint yorker, then finishing it off as Madhidhi inside-edges a full ball onto the pad and back into the stumps. Clinical stuff at the death as Zimbabwe U19 are bundled out for 148 in 37.4 overs. India’s bowlers wrap it up in style, completing a comprehensive victory.
ZIM 148 (37.4)
