India Vs Pakistan At WCL 2025 Semifinal: Will The Match Be Cancelled Again?

India Champions are in the semifinals of the World Championship of Legends 2025. They defeated West Indies in a convincing fashion to boost their Net Run Rate and sneak into the fourth position to qualify for the semifinals. However, there is a problem. They have to face the top-ranked team of the group stage, which is Pakistan.

The relations between the two countries are not on the best terms and there was a huge backlash from Indian fans when the two teams were supposed to meet earlier in the tournament. Owing to the backlash and several Indian players pulling out, the match had to be cancelled.

The cancellation led to both teams sharing a point each. But now that it is a knockout match, there will have to be a result, making things more complicated.

While there is no clarity over what will happen, the top sponsor has already withdrawn its backing from what is supposed to be a marquee clash.
