While the senior India team only takes the field on Wednesday, their junior counterparts are set to embark today on their final quest for victory in this English tour. In news from the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has reportedly joined the Indian Test squad for the last two matches as cover for the injured Arshdeep Singh. Ahead of the fourth Test match at Old Trafford, Manchester, Arshdeep sustained an injury to his left hand, prompting the addition of Kamboj.

The rain dance continues in England. After interrupting multiple cricket matches across venues yesterday, morning downpour in Chelmsford today means that the toss is postponed in the second Youth Test. We will keep you posted with regards to more details and updated timings.

India U19 win the toss and elect to field in the 2nd Multi Day match against England U19 in Chelmsford.

Brilliant start from the young Indian pacers and they are proving their captain's call to field first absolutely right. Henil Patel and Aditya Rawat have a wicket each and England are in a spot of bother right now in some challenging batting conditions.

It is raining now and we have some delay. In fact, it could be a long one as the clouds have been hovering over the stadium for some time now. Good start by India but now rain intervenes.

Not quite the day Indian youngsters would have wanted. They were so good with the new ball but now have to wait with rain falling heavily. England would be somewhat relieved but they would know batting would not be easy when things resume.

The match has resumed now. Rain has finally relented after eating up the entire first session and a large part of the second session as well.

Another one down for England and India get their third wicket. Rocky Flintoff is gone for 16 and India are right on top after the break in play.

England have lost four wickets and India are totally in control. The pitch and the overcast conditions have helped India but the bowlers have been really disciplined and kept leash on English batters.

England lose their fifth wicket. Indian youngsters have sent back half the English side. A very good performance so far. RS Ambrish with his second wicket to break the budding stand.

We are seeing a counter-attack from England. Thomas Rew and Ekansh Singh are in the middle and the duo has added 62 runs in just 59 balls. Pressure thrown right back at Indian bowlers.

200 up for England. Ekansh Singh is leading England's charge and their run rate is now over four runs per over. A good phase of play for the hosts as Indian bowlers have not been able to consistently hit the good lengths and thus have been punished.

English youngsters have shown a good fight to stay in this game. A brilliant knock so far from Ekansh Singh who has somewhat slowed down now after the initial assault. Batting on 66, Singh has mixed aggression and solidity beautifully to play an important hand for England.
