News is out! The toss has finally happened and BAN A have won the toss and elected to field first against AFG A.

Imran Mir and Noor ul Rahman are at the crease and Ripon Mondol has the ball in hand for Bangladesh A. Imran dispatches the second ball for a boundary but is dismissed off the very next, caught by Rakibul Hasan at short fine leg in a really soft dismissal. A not-so-bright start for Afghanistan A.

Bangladesh A have put Afghanistan A on back foot here. The latter have lost three wickets in the first three overs and it's not a good sign for any team. Ahmad Ahmadzai is the new batter on the crease.

Bangladesh A have owned the powerplay by taking 3 wickets and restricting the run rate to less than 5 runs per over. Afghanistan A needs some inspirational batting efforts from here on to reach to a competitive total.

Bangladesh A bowlers are on a rampage here as wicket are falling in cluster here. Afghanistan A are 5 down as SM Meherob takes 2 in the over, first Ahmed Ahmadzai gets stumped in the 2nd ball of the over followed by Nangeyalia Kharote getting catch out at the last ball of the over.

BAN A are all over AFG A here at Doha. AFG A have 9 wickets at just 69 runs, Raqibul Hasan and Ripon Mondal being the wreaker-in-chief with 3 wickets each.

The inevitable has happened! Afghanistan A are all out for 78 just under 19 overs. It was not just scintillating bowling from BAN A but all poor show from the bat by AFG A. BAN A will need to chase 79 from their quota of 20 overs.

BAN A's innings has got off to a cautious start on a tricky wicket while chasing just 80 runs. Both the openers Habibur Rahman Sohan and Jishan Alam will look to carry on and not lose any wicket as we have seen that on this pitch one wicket can bring two or even more.

Afghanistan have very little to play with, but they have got a glimmer of hope with two early wickets. Openers Habibur Rahman Sohan and Jishan Alam are both back in the dugout, and Bangladesh have two new batters at the crease. The Afghans need to keep chipping away.

Bangladesh A need 29 runs in 60 balls and have eight wickets in hands. A one-sided victory is in sight for the Bangladesh A side.

It's a wide and that will be curtains for Aghanistan A. Bangladesh A have won the match comfortably with 8 wickets with 39 balls to spare. The 55-run not out stand between Zawad Abrar (24*) and Mahidul Islam Ankon (27*) ensured that BAN A doesn't lose any more wickets.

Ripon Mondol who starred with the ball for Bangladesh A was declared the 'Man of the Match'. He took the wickets of top 3 batters of Afghanistan A to break the back of their batting line up while giving away just 10 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
