After a gruelling opening game that saw neither pair giving an inch, Jongsathapornparn and Sudjaipraparat grab the first game point opportunity they earn to take it 21-19. The joy is palpable as they are one game away from levelling the tie and forcing a deciding fifth match!

It was a hard-fought game in which Thailand's Chochuwong wins by 21-19. After losing the first game by 21-15, Chochuwong made a stellar comeback to win two consecutive games by 16-21 and 19-21.
Miyazaki shows immense resilience to forge a fightback in the game as the deficit now remains of 1 point only. Chochuwong still leads though by 16-15.
Chochuwong has carried on the momentum from the last game and is currently leading by 10-6. Miyazaki has a lot to catch up.

Thailand have clawed their way back into this and now they've got the lead. At 19-14, Aimsaard and Paewsampran have found their groove and are playing with real confidence now.
Japan's early advantage has slipped away and Fukushima and Matsumoto are suddenly chasing the match. The Thai duo are executing their game plan perfectly - sharp transitions at the net, good court coverage, and they're finishing off their attacking chances.
Japan need to dig in here and find some answers quick or Thailand will run away with game one.
We're into the doubles now and Thailand have come out swinging. Aimsaard and Paewsampran have got an early grip on this one, sitting pretty at 4-2 against the Japanese pairing.
Fukushima and Matsumoto are trying to settle into their rhythm, but Thailand's coordination at the net is looking sharp.
Japan need to find their timing here and get back on level terms before Thailand run away with it. Still early though - plenty of time for Fukushima and Matsumoto to claw their way back into this one.
Akane Yamaguchi gets the job done. After that nail-biter in the first game, she came out with serious intent in game two and put Intanon away with a convincing 21-15 victory.
The Thai star tried everything she could, but Yamaguchi was simply the sharper player today - better movement, cleaner execution, and ice in her veins when it mattered.
Japan take the opening match and moves to a 1-0 lead in this quarter-final. Intanon gave it her all, but sometimes the other player is just too good on the day. Japan's off to a perfect start.
More of the same intensity here in game two. Yamaguchi's controlling the tempo nicely, but Intanon is refusing to go away quietly. At 16-13, the Japanese star has her nose in front, but there's still a lot of badminton to be played.
Intanon's showing real character, staying within striking distance and keeping the pressure on.
And there it is. After a back-and-forth battle that had everyone on the edge of their seats, Akane Yamaguchi finds a way to close it out. Twenty-two to twenty - that's as tight as it gets.
She fought off every challenge Intanon threw at her, stayed composed when the pressure mounted, and when it mattered most, she executed. That's championship-level badminton right there.
Intanon gave everything she had, but Yamaguchi's experience and resilience showed in those final points. Japan take the first game and now we're heading into game two in this quarter-final matchup.
We're underway and both players are feeling each other out nicely. Yamaguchi and Intanon are locked dead even at 4-4, with neither player giving much away in these opening exchanges.
The rallies are tight and purposeful - both women are clearly taking their time to read the court and understand what they're working with today. It's a measured start to what promises to be a competitive quarter-final battle.
The pressure's on early, and you can sense both players know exactly what's at stake here.
