P.V. Babu

Age 59, Day-Trader, Mumbai

But isn’t his family worried that he could lose a lot of money too? "My wife is worried and I know it’s risky. But I have always taken risks. While I have made money on delivery-based trading, I have lost too as a day trader. When the latter happens, I do get scared. But within days, I am back in front of my terminal to take risks again," he says. Now that the Sensex is zooming, he’s having a much better time. And, like a good day trader, he believes that one can make money both when it goes up or down. "Any time is good to invest. But I have also realised that it’s extremely difficult to understand the markets. There’s no logic to the Sensex movements. It all depends on luck."
