Vietnamese cuisine is, largely, a happy mix of Chinese, Thai and French, chopsticks, chillies and bread! If you like any of these three great cuisines, you will like Blue Ginger. The kitchen makes great use of herbs like lemongrass, lime leaves, and basil. This being India, vegetarians will find a greater choice here than in Hanoi. Among the starters, the soft shell crabs with spicy plum sauce and the grilled scallops were spectacular. As for the main course, I liked the stir-fried prawns in tamarind sauce and beef in pepper sauce. Forget the rice; choose one or two of the noodles. I cannot comment on the various items that come on sticks. When I am paying this kind of money, I do not like chewing off a stick.
