Five Gadgets Worth Waiting For

There is every chance that Apple will unleash the iPhone 5 next year, complete with a new form factor and new features. What I am hoping for is a much more powerful Siri, letting you do everything Star Trek transponder style.

Sony PSP Vita

This power-packed handheld could see Sony win back lost ground. The specs are awesome; what it needs are games. If it gets them, Sony could reinvent mobile gaming as we know it.

Nintendo Wii U

The next throw of the dice brings HD gaming to Nintendo users and also throws in one of the most innovative controllers we have seen, combining a touchscreen with buttons and motion sensors. It could rock conventional consoles.

Kindle Fire
Given the first Kindle Fire tablet’s success, there is every reason to believe that Amazon will come out with an even better tablet next year. Amazon is expected to launch in India by mid-2012. Will Indian tablet users be in for a treat this year?

iPad 3

What will Apple do with the uber-tablet now? Add support for voice commands via Siri? Throw in a third camera for Kinect-like gaming? Bring in a retina display? We honestly have no idea but the iPad3 will no doubt be the most awaited tablet of the year.
