Their biriyani is very good: flavoursome and rich, the meat cooked to perfection within the rice itself, Hyderabadi style, so that it’s uniquely pink and tender. We suggest you have it with mirchon ka saalan and dahi. Follow this with their khubani ka meetha (perhaps the best in town). And then, a cup of typical Hyderabadi chai, ultra-milky and ultra-sweet. If you’re a hard-core foodie, you’ll also enjoy their nahari, zabaan and jabda, with sheermal roti. Or their breakfast of kaleji, qeema and khichdi.
After Friday prayers they also serve a special lunch of dum ke chawal and dalcha. Never, however, make the mistake of asking them what they recommend: you run the risk of being offered something called Chocolate Chicken, which, as they enthusiastically explain, comes wrapped in silver foil, "bilkul chocolate ke jaisa". Good food; zero ambie-nce. Enjoy!
