Why I Like Outlook

Space given to dissent is perhaps the most precious aspects of the magazine for me.

Outlook is a magazine I’ve read and followed since college. It is a guaranteed engaging, substantial read, no matter what the cover! Outlook has managed to retain space for ‘dissenting views’ in its pages, however euphoric and aggressive public discourse is about a particular issue, especially political. This space given to dissent is perhaps the most precious aspects of the magazine for me. My other favourite Outlook characteristic is the generous copy, word limit and coverage given to culture, society, literature, the arts, interviews; beyond news and politics. Detailed features enable the reader to develop their own analysis and provoke critical thinking. Outlook does a great job covering emerging trends on the culture front, including Bollywood! On the down side, your travel section could use more pictures. Other than that, great job over the years and please always have space for those who raise the “but what about...” questions.
