As the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Temple unfolded, Iqbal Ansari, son of Hashim Ansari, the former litigant in the Ayodhya land dispute, expressed that the Ram Temple issue was resolved, making everyone happy. He emphasised Ayodhya as a city where deities of all religions coexisted and welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the historic event.

He says, “Ayodhya, is a city where development thrives amidst the harmony of diverse communities. Over the past few years, Ayodhya has witnessed progress in various aspects, from roads to railway stations. The city's atmosphere exudes positivity, with people from all castes and religions coexisting peacefully. Ayodhya, steeped in religious significance, is not just a city but a symbol of unity, embracing people of all faiths. With the completion of projects like the temple, roads, and airport, Ayodhya is ready to welcome leaders like Modi and guests from across the globe. Its cultural richness and the spirit of brotherhood make Ayodhya a city that stands out in the headlines, reflecting continuous growth and development.

Witnessing Ayodhya's journey from the past to the present, it's evident that the city's unique blend of Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb (cultural amalgamation) remains intact. People, irrespective of their backgrounds, live together in harmony, showcasing a society where mutual respect prevails. Ayodhya, with its diverse traditions and cultural events, attracts visitors from far and wide, contributing to its ongoing development.

Reflecting on the economic aspect, Ayodhya has not only preserved its traditions but also embraced modernity. The recent land allocation, a result of the Supreme Court's decision, has been received positively, fostering progress. The collaboration between Hindus and Muslims in this process demonstrates the unity that defines Ayodhya.”

He asserts that the global Hindu community anticipates grand celebrations. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, culminating in the establishment of Ram Lalla's idol, marks a historic milestone in Ayodhya.

Addressing economic concerns, Iqbal Ansari acknowledges the presence of colleges, hospitals, and hotels in Ayodhya, while also acknowledging areas that need improvement. The cultural richness, combined with Ayodhya's historical significance, makes it a unique destination.

He further explains the update on the land allotted to the Central Sunni Waqf Board to build a new mosque says, “Notably, there has been no intervention from either Hindu or Muslim communities in this matter, and the Supreme Court has approved the allocation of the land in Dhannipur to the Muslim community. The construction of the mosque is not yet started.”

In response to questions about politics and the upcoming elections, Ansari emphasises a focus on social work rather than political engagement. Ayodhya, they believe, should continue its path of progress and unity, irrespective of political transitions.

“Ayodhya stands as a symbol of unity, where development is not just a physical transformation but an embodiment of shared values and cultural richness.” He further adds.
