Respondents who had indicated aParty they would vote for in the coming elections were next asked to give their reasons of why they would votefor that Party.  They were free to give one or more reasons.

11.2% of the respondents in thesample who claimed to have voted in favour of Congress (I) in the last Vidhan Sabha Elections have said thatthey will vote for BJP this time.  Where as only 5.9% of thosesaid they had voted for BJP now intent to vote for Congress (I).
