On Camera, Kerala State Transport Bus Hits Car, Skids Off Road, Rams Into Church

According to local media reports, about 15 people sustained injuries and were shifted to nearby hospitals. There were no reports of casualties. 

A state transport bus in Kerala collided with a car coming from the opposite direction, skidded off the road and rammed into a church, a CCTV footage doing rounds online showed. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district.

In a video clip of the accident, the speeding bus, reportedly on its way to Thiruvananthapuram, was seen moving out of its lane, hitting a car from the opposite direction and then ramming against the entry gate of a church, which came crashing down on the bus.

A Twitter user replied to one of the videos, saying, "Bus drivers in Kerala are absolutely out of control. This has been the case for years now."

Eyewitnesses also told local media that the bus driver and a female passenger were seriously wounded, while others escaped with minor injuries.
