The two factions of the Nationalist Congress Party jointly released a common manifesto ahead of the Maharashtra civic elections, signalling improved ties after the party split.
The manifesto was unveiled by NCP chief Ajit Pawar and NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule, marking a rare public show of unity.
The move followed Ajit Pawar’s statement that family differences had been resolved and that workers from both factions were keen on coming together.
