Methodology: Research organisation Cfore conducted the survey in West Bengal between November 19 and November 22, 2007. The poll was conducted in Calcutta, Hooghly, Purulia, Durgapur, Haldia, Burdwan, Bankura and adjoining rural areas. A randomly selected sample of 1,072 voters was interviewed using a structured questionnaire.
