• Pursuing an aggressive Saudiisation programme to create jobs for locals
• Planning to reduce the number of expats from 7 million to 4 m by 2013

Impact on India:

• The number of Indians might shrink; money inflows willbe hit
• The only hope is that not many Saudis might like to take low-level jobs; so the majority of semi-skilled Indians will remain unaffected
