Daytime Emmy-winning actor, Billy Miller, known for The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, has passed away at the age of 43. According to his manager, Marnie Sparer, Miller was grappling with manic depression at the time of his death. He passed away on a Friday in Austin, Texas, just two days before his 44th birthday. Born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas, Miller initially explored modeling before achieving his first significant breakthrough.

Billy Miller's Television Career:

His debut in daytime television came with his role as Richie Novak in the ABC soap opera All My Children, which he portrayed from 2007 to 2008. 

From 2008 to 2014, he played the character Billy Abbott on CBS's The Young and the Restless, amassing over 700 episodes and earning three Daytime Emmy awards, including one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and two for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. 

In 2014, he joined the cast of General Hospital, taking on the roles of Jason Morgan and Drew Cain, and remained a regular on the show until 2019. Additionally, he made appearances in several episodes of the US legal drama Suits and was featured in ten episodes of Apple TV+'s Truth Be Told. 

His film credits include Clint Eastwood's 2014 military drama American Sniper and the 2016 film Urban Cowboy. Miller's last known role was in the crime drama NCIS.
