Uday was living a normal and happy life until the brutal murder of his son. His son died in a crossfire linked to police corruption. Uday was blamed, left for dead and disappeared. He changed his name to Kennedy and became a contract killer for the corrupt system that destroyed him. He doesn’t speak or sleep much.

The story of the Kennedy movie takes the audience to two different timelines where we can see Uday as a loving father in the past and in present as Kennedy, who kills people for money and is hunting the commissioner who ordered a hit on his family. His character as Kennedy is quite precise, cold and almost mechanical. Every kill brings him closer to the man he really wants. 

The life of Kennedy changed a lot after the entrance of Charlie (Sunny Leone) into his life. She listens to Kennedy and tries to feel his pain. 

It is the story of a man who is shattered after the brutal murder of his son and is now hunting for the culprits behind the same. The visuals of the Mumbai lockdown bring up the essence of being empty and haunted. Quiet streets, hollow appearing buildings and a lot more. The city actually mirrors the inside of Kennedy, who is taking breath but is dead everywhere else.

Cast That Spells Magic On The Audience

Rahul Bhat as Uday/Kennedy is the lead performer of the movie. He barely raises his voice in the movie, actually he doesn't need to. His expressions and emotions touch the audience deeply. Bhat has got into his role very perfectly. 

Sunny Leone, as Charlie, has surprised everyone through her performance. Along with glamour, Sunny has brought strength to the movie. Her scenes with Bhat appear to be quite realistic. The talk between the two appears to be quite genuine where we can see two people talking over the pain they both recognised and had felt. Sunny’s character in the movie is quite subtle without any emotions. Her presence even adds strength to the story.

Abhilash Tapliyal as Chandan and Mohit Takalkar also spellbind the audience through their powerful performance.

Crew That Strengthens The Story of a New Movie

Anurag Kashyap has landed up with a unique and refreshing story. He has beautifully written and directed the different scenes that appear to be quite touching, deep and emotional. Cinematographer Sylvester Fonseca has beautifully brought the essence of Mumbai city, where shadows appear to be thick and light to be weak. Every scene of the movie appears to be quite heavy, making the audience feel the pain of Uday. Editors Tanya Chhabria and Deepak Kattar bring the different flashbacks beautifully, blending the past into the present. The music of Aamir Aziz and Ashish Narula is minimal and haunting and includes sounds that crawl into the head.
