- Has asked National Informatics Centre to electronically tag files and assets
- It involves use of RFID tags that can be read with hand-held scanners
- It will become easy to locate files and assets. Key ministries to use new system.
- Critics say files in offices should be reduced first. Also, clerks will have to be trained before it is put in place.
