War 2 First-Look Posters: Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR And Kiara Advani Exude Swag With Their Fierce Avatars

The first-look posters of War 2, one of the most-anticipated movies of the year, are out. The makers. on Thursday, unveiled all three posters featuring the lead stars, Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. They are seen exuding swag in fierce and feisty avatars.

Sharing all three War 2 posters on social media handles, Yash Raj Films captioned them, "Bet you haven’t ever seen a WAR like this! Let’s count it down #50DaysToWar2 ... Releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide!(sic)"

About War 2

Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, that starred Hrithik, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. It is the fifth film in YRF’s Spy Universe, after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.

The first instalment was directed by Siddharth Anand, while War 2 has been directed by Ayan Mukerji.

The actioner marks Jr NTR's Bollywood debut, and his first collaboration with Hrithik.

War 2 teaser

War 2 teaser was unveiled on May 20, on the occasion of Jr NTR's birthday. It gave us a glimpse of an epic clash between two stars. Hrithik Roshan is reprising his role of RAW agent, Kabir, while Jr NTR plays the antagonist. The teaser shows both actors performing some high-octane action scenes, mid-ocean action stunts, and car-and-bike chases, as they face off against each other.

It also gave a glimpse into Kiara Advani's character, where she was seen romancing Hrithik. Going by her poster, it seems she will also have some action scenes in the film.

War 2 release date

It will hit theatres on Independence Day week, on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. War 2 will clash with Rajinikanth starrer Coolie, at the box office.
