Casting director Sunny Dagar had worked with late actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik in his last directorial, ‘Kaagaz 2’. Dagar opens up about the working experience with such a legendary personality.

Casting director Sunny Dagar, who has worked in projects like ‘Mitron’, ‘Muthoon’, ‘Aisha’, ‘Avrodh’, ‘Bloody Brothers’, ‘The Broken News’ and is currently garnering accolades for casting Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami in Nandita Das' ‘Zwigato’ talks about his next project which is Satish Kaushik's ‘Kaagaz 2’. It stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Darshan Kumaar and Smriti Kalra.

Sunny says, "As we all know in ‘Kaagaz’ we saw how a common man suffer the consequences and the weight of paper work and how he had to fight to prove that a piece of paper will not decide his fate just like that, ‘Kaagaz 2’ will make the audience more entertained and make sure they get the actual message loud and clear."

Describing his working experience with Satish Kaushik he tells, "Working with Satish sir was always such an amazing experience and the way he explains everything was truly commendable. He always treated me like a part of his family and working with him taught me so many things for that I will always thank him from the bottom of my heart."

Sharing about his casting experience for ‘Kaagaz 2’ he says, "The casting experience was tough as we had to make sure the whole caste of ‘Kaagaz’ goes on point and to make a movie more realistic it’s always a tough job to cast the best fitting actor in the character but the whole experience was fun and exciting."

He continues, "Whole casting is as crucial as casting a main character because a scene only develops when the supporting cast is also as good as the main cast and we made sure in ‘Kaagaz’ the supporting cast also gets to the point."

The film’s shoot was wrapped up in January this year. With Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise, the movie’s fate is in limbo. Only time will tell when the movie finally sees the light of the day.
