Prakash Raj Faces Severe Backlash On Social Media For Mocking Chandrayaan-3

Actor Prakash Raj is often slammed on social media for his controversial comments and statements. Now, he has been shredded on social media for his recent post on Chandrayaan-3 on social media. Prakash took a sarcastic jab at the Chandrayaan-3 mission on X, formerly known as Twitter, which invited outrage and criticism from netizens and he was slammed left, right and centre. 

The 'Singham' actor shared a post featuring a cartoon that shows a man pouring tea. Sharing the pic, he wrote, "BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking".

A section of users found it derogatory as they felt it was like showing disrespect to the scientists who are responsible for India's historic Moon mission.

One user wrote, ''Have some shame prakash.. get well soon.''

''What a shame u have become for just nothing 🙏🏻. May god bless you with some wisdom sir,'' wrote another. 

One person wrote, ''Hell bent on making clear about your Hatred for India but, why? This country & her citizens have given you so much and yet you do this. Your Hate for the Nation is really Appalling''.

Another user commented, ''you'ra commendable actor and has given a lot to Indian cinema,but I'm deeply saddened 🙏,Sir desh se badkar kuch ni hota ,na hum na aap.If you have zero technical knowledge plskeepquiet,Dont interfere in national intrest for your political intrest. You lost my respect man🙏''.

The Chandrayaan-3 was launched into space by the LVM3 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on July 14 and on August 5 it entered lunar orbit. It is scheduled to have a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon on August 23 at 6.04 pm. As reported by ISRO, the Vikram lander is in good health.
