‘Aadujeevitham’ or ‘The Goat Life’ stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The film follows the story of a Malayali immigrant labourer who finds himself forced into slavery at a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia. The film has been in the works since 2009. Director Blessy had signed a deal with the original author of the story to adapt it into a film. After this, Prithviraj Sukumaran was roped in as well. However, what delayed the project was Blessy’s hunt for a producer.

In 2015, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Steven Adams joined Blessy as producers for this unique film. The filming started in 2018 and continued till 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic stretched the shoot timelines of this film. It was reported that the crew was stranded in Jordan while shooting and they were evacuated on a Vande Bharat plane.

‘Aadujeevitham’ is directed by Blessy and the music has been composed by A.R Rahman.
