Saif and Kareena fell in love while working on Tashan in 2008. Their relationship attracted significant media attention, particularly because Saif had previously been married to Amrita Singh and shares two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, with her.

The couple married on October 16, 2012, in an intimate ceremony at Saif’s Bandra residence in Mumbai. They welcomed Taimur in December 2016 and Jeh in February 2021.
