Tell us about the film.
It’s the story of Romeo who was living the high life till fate landed him on the roads. Yet he makes friends, finds love and even finds a villain! And then turns into Roadside Romeo.
How did you develop the story and why did you venture into the dog world?

Much to my pleasure, on hearing the idea both of them instantly agreed with a smile. Saif looked at me and said, "So you going to turn me into a dog eh!"
Eight numbers? Isn’t it a bit too much?
The CD has eight, the film has five numbers.
We still associate you with Masoom. But why no strong performances since?
Even so, I’ve had the opportunity of working with some great directors so no complaints.
Your next real film?
I haven’t had time since the last two years. I’ve been completely focused onRoadside Romeo.
