Dhamaal 4 Box Office Collection Day 2 Sees Big Jump Despite Mixed Word Of Mouth

Dhamaal's 4 box office collection day 2 has given Ajay Devgn's latest comedy a much-needed boost after a decent opening. Although the film received mixed reactions from critics and audiences, it managed to attract more moviegoers on its second day, indicating that the franchise's popularity continues to draw crowds despite the divided word of mouth.

Dhamaal 4 box office collection jumps on second day

After opening with ₹14 crore net on Friday, Dhamaal 4 registered a healthy rise on Saturday. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated ₹22.50 crore net on its second day, marking a 60.7 per cent increase over its opening-day collection. With this, the film's two-day India net total has reached ₹36.50 crore.

The latest figures put the comedy close to Welcome To The Jungle, which earned ₹20 crore on its second day and had collected ₹39 crore after two days. However, Dhamaal 4 comfortably outperformed Ajay Devgn's previous release, De De Pyaar De 2, which had earned ₹21 crore after two days. It has also moved ahead of Son of Sardaar 2, which collected ₹15.50 crore during the same period.

Still trails behind Total Dhamaal

Despite the encouraging jump, Dhamaal 4 still has ground to cover before matching the success of Total Dhamaal. Released in 2019, the third instalment collected ₹20.40 crore on its second day alone before ending its theatrical run with a lifetime India net collection of ₹155.67 crore.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra and Anjali Anand. The makers have also teased Dhamaal 5 through a post-credit scene, signalling that the comedy franchise is set to continue.
