Ariana Grande To Release New Album After A 4 Year Hiatus

Grammy-winner Ariana Grande is making a comeback with her seventh studio album next year.

Following a four-year hiatus from music to concentrate on her role in the upcoming 'Wicked' live adaptations and her R.E.M. Beauty business, the 30-year-old pop star Ariana Grande has confirmed the much-awaited release of her seventh studio album next year.

On Wednesday, the singer-songwriter took to social media to gave her 380 million Instagram followers a few glimpses of her recording sessions, along with a bunch of photos, captioning it, "see you next year.”

In one of the pictures, several Polaroid photos are scattered on the floor, while in the next picture, she wrote “See you next year” with her brand's red lipstick on a piece of paper.

In one picture, Grande is seen shedding tears with a thumbs-up. In another photo, she looks like she's dancing while being on a video call with someone. She then shared the two pictures on her Instagram story, and wrote, “The two moods of the album," with a humourous spirit.

The last slide is a video, in which the collaborator tells the '7 Rings' singer, “It's almost the last day of this album.” Ariana, who's wrapped up cozily in a blanket on a couch says, “I’m so tired but so happy and grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons.”

Since her 2020 album 'Positions' debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 Charts, the two-time Grammy winner hasn't released any new albums. Teasing her upcoming untitled album, Grande has been strategically posting on Instagram since earlier this month—marking significant hints on Dec 7, Dec. 17, and now Dec. 27, creating a pattern that we are yet unaware of.
