'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15': Amitabh Bachchan Reveals He’s Grateful To Actor Jeetendra And His Family

'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15' airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting quiz-based reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15', which premiered on August 14 on Sony TV. During the 94th episode of 'KBC 15', the host and superstar Amitabh Bachchan recalled his wife, Jaya Bachchan, and even talked about shooting with actor Jeetendra for their 1972 film 'Parichay'.

It all started with contestant Nidhi Sharma losing the game and took home Rs 10,000. Big B then played the fastest finger first, and the Delhi-based Rekha Pandey won the round and took the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan.

Rekha, who is a housewife, immediately told Big B how she is a fan of Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She then praised the 'Parichay' actor and said, "She is a very natural actress." Amitabh Bachchan then questioned her if she was a fan of everyone in his family. To which, she replied, "Aapke yahan hai he saare ke saare naginein (You have all the gems in your house)."

Rekha then even asked Big B how he connects with his old tracks. To which, the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ actor replied, "I connect the songs to my yesteryears and where, when I heard it, what was I doing then?" He then went on to talk about wife Jaya Bachchan and Jeetendra's film 'Parichay'. He said, "I was fortunate that Mr Jeetendra and his family while this film was being made, we used to visit often during shooting. Even today, we meet and greet each other. So, that's how we are connected."

Rekha then asked Amitabh Bachchan if he remembered all the people he has worked with. And the legendary star asserted, "Yes, I remember them all because film is an art form that can never be erased from memory. Once it is filmed, it stays forever."

Meanwhile, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15' airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV, and the show can also be streamed on the app SonyLIV.

As for the show’s format, it has undergone a change as something called 'Super Sandook' has been introduced, which allows the candidates to retrieve what they might have lost during the game show. Another lifeline called Double Dip has been added to the show, while an element called Desh Ka Sawal has been introduced to encourage more audience participation.

As for Big B, he was last seen in Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Ganapath’.
