'Animal': CBFC Deletes Close-Up Shots Of An Intimate Scene In Ranbir Kapoor Starrer; Here's The List Of All Cuts

Just two days ahead of 'Animal' release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested eight cuts to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.

'Animal' is all set to hit the screens on December 1. Helmed by 'Kabir Singh' fame director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as the main lead. Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol play pivotal roles. Just two days ahead of its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested eight cuts to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial.

As suggested by the censor board, some major changes have been reportedly made to the film prior to the certification. It includes the removal of an "intimate scene" between two characters.

As per a report in Hindustan Times, as per a copy of the certificate, there has been a modification of a few words in the Ranbir starrer. Words like 'black' and 'costume' are changed. 'Costume' is said to be changed to 'vastra'. The certificate also states that cuss words have also been modified "wherever they occur".

Vijay and Zoya's characters' close-up shots have been deleted in an intimate sequence. The final cut of 'Animal' is a little more than 203 minutes- that is three hours and 21 minutes long.

Here is a list of all the changes made to 'Animal'.

The words ‘Black’ and 'Costume' modified

‘Kabhi nahi’ modified

‘Kya bol rahe ho aap’ modified

The word ‘Natak’ muted

Subtitles changed to ‘you change pads four times a month’

Cuss words modified ‘whenever they occur’

Close-up shots in an ‘intimate scene’ deleted

'Animal' has got 'A' certificate. Earlier, Sandeep had tweeted, "Censor rating for Animal is A :-) 3 hour 21 minutes 23 seconds & 16 frames is the Runtime :-) #AnimalTheFilm Releasing on Dec 1st @VangaPictures @TSeries."

The film is creating all the right buzz. Recently, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad where the team and cast were present. It is to be noted that 'Animal' is high on sexual violence, threat, coarse language, violence, etc.
